Hauck Heat Treatment operates processing facilities in strategic locations around Europe, enabling us to offer all types of heat treatment processes. Our facilities are closely interlinked in terms of logistics, which means that all processes are available to you even if the specific process you seek is not available at the nearest Hauck Heat Treatment location.

Technology

Sub-Zero

After hardening it may be required to quench materials below 0°C. The required temperature depends on the grade of steel that is used. At Hauck Heat Treatment we have capabilities to cool down up to -160°C. This process can also be used to age specific materials.

Carbonitriding is a case hardening process which also diffuses nitrogen into the surface with the purpose of increasing hardness and wear resistance.

Oxi-Nitrocarburizing

Oxi-Nitrocarburizing is a nitro-carburizing process that includes a post-oxidation-step to increase corrosion resistance and applies an attrective ‘black’ finishing.

Nitrotec

The Nitrotec® process is used to enhance the surface and strength characteristics of a range of carbon and low alloy steels. Wear resistance, improved fatigue performance and excellent corrosion resistance are among the properties conferred by this modern surface treatment technology. Such improvements in performance can significantly reduce the manufacturing and materials cost of components, a fact proved repeatedly by the automotive industry on pressed parts.

Stainihard

Stainihard is a hardening technique that allows for the  hardening of the surface of stainless steel without reducing  corrosion resistance. The process is based on nitro-carburizing in gas.

Stainitec is a hardening technique that allows for the  hardening of the surface of stainless steel through plasma treatment without reducing  corrosion resistance.

Brazing

Vacuum Brazing

Vacuum Brazing is a process that creates high quality joints under temperatures from about 800°C to 1150°C in a vacuum atmosphere. This also allows for the joining of different materials like for example ceramic to steel.

Belt Furnace Brazing is a cost-efficient and continuous process that simultaneously applies brazing joints to relatively high volumes of components.
