Hauck Cheltenham Plant is proud to announce that following the Initial SC21 Bronze award in 2014 & Re-bronze in 2015 we will be receiving the SC21 Silver Award for the first time at the SC21 Task Force meeting in November 2016. Achieving the Silver Award demonstrates the success of continual improvement projects that have contributed to meeting and surpassing the Quality & Delivery targets required to achieve the Silver Status.
ADS run the program and at the awards ceremony stated SC21 is a change programme designed to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace & defence industry by raising the performance of its supply chains. International competition, together with the challenges posed by the defence industrial strategy, necessitates rapid improvement in the effectiveness of our supply chains. At the same time, industry must ensure that it delivers competitive solutions for customers whilst maintaining profitable business growth.
Implementing SC21 has enhanced customer service & perception, lowered internal costs and improved our delivery performance year on year. Hauck Cheltenham are now running at an average of 98.3% on time delivery.
In conjunction with ADS Hauck Cheltenham is also an active member of ACE Midlands Cluster Group which is a collaborative of Aerospace Primes & Suppliers working and supporting each other by sharing information & skills.
