Our plant in Gaildorf recently participated in a project which aimed to collect donations for the good cause. This project – which is best translated to “Participation is a Matter of Honour” – runs in the course of the International Volunteer Day. Within the framework of an honorary office, a student of the secondary school in Gaildorf supported us in the packaging department and was able to collect his first impressions and experiences in assessing metallic structures and testing the hardness of materials in our laboratory for a whole working day. The earnings he received for this were donated to a regional charitable project he picked himself.
We are very happy that we could be part of this charity project and hope that we could enthuse a young person about working in a modern heat treatment shop like we have in Gaildorf.
