Letchworth plant hosted 32 apprentices over three days in August. The apprentices were from AMTC (Advance Manufacturing Training Centre) Coventry. The trip was organised by MTC (Manufacturing Technology Centre)
Letchworth Plant has a strong relationship with the MTC and the students had the chance to see a heat treatment facility in full flow.
In addition they were able to see prepared batches of Powder Metallurgy Cans which they had produced at the AMTC. These were to be HIP processed at Hauck Heat Treatment Letchworth.
The students were shown round the plant by Stewart Griffiths & Dorina Stan from the Customer Engineering Team.
